🟩 Introduction:
If you're designing for commercial printing in Japan, you might notice that Japanese print shops often require a specific kind of trim marks — different from the Western style.
In this article, I’m sharing free Japanese-style “double-trim” templates for Affinity Designer.
This template is based on the traditional printing guidelines widely used in Japanese professional DTP workflows.
🟨 Why Japanese Trim Marks Matter
- They are different from Western single-line crop marks
- Double-lined, including registration and bleed zones
- Required by many Japanese print companies like Graphic, Eikou, and others
- Especially important for booklet, flyer, and doujinshi printing
